Linen and nettle

Cool Beauties

Linen is an ancient fibre, spun from flax. Today flax is only grown in very few regions in Europe. For a long time, linen was not very popular among hand knitters. Too expensive, not soft enough. But today more and more knitters fall in love with this great versatile materia. At the beginning it feels a bit stiff, but the more you work with it, the softer it gets. We also offer one linen yarn containing recycled linen. This one is very drapey and soft. Mix Linen with for example cotton and you obtain a wonderful, inexpensive summer yarn like the BC Garn Allino.
