The Merry Merino 140 GOTS from Kremke Soul Wool is the GOTS-certified successor to our popular baby wool Bébé Soft Wash. Why did it need a successor? Quite simply, we really wanted the wool with a GOTS certificate! We took the opportunity to revise and refresh the color palette a little as well.
The Merry Merino 140 GOTS is a true all-rounder: the super soft merino wool with 20.5 micron is perceived by 99% of people as completely itch-free, making it excellent for knitting baby items or baby blankets. But knitting shawls or thin sweaters also works perfectly with it. Thanks to the chlorine-free enzyme treatment, it is machine washable on the gentle cycle at 30 degrees. This makes it really easy to care for and simply super practical for every occasion. The raw wool comes from Argentina and is of course mulesing-free. The yarn is spun in Italy.
The Merry Merino 140 GOTS has three more sisters with 220, 110 and 70 meters of yardage respectively.
Our brand KREMKE now has a new logo. For sustainability reasons, however, we will continue to use up our stock of old labels. So some color variants of this yarn already have a new label and some still have an old one.
