Admittedly, this beautifully beaded sock yarn from Cowgirlblues is far too lovely for socks and not as durable as a true sock yarn with added polyacrylic. But the superwash finish gives the yarn a subtle sheen and is certainly practical for scarves and shawls! I've absolutely fallen in love with the Rainforest color. This deep green shimmers beautifully, like all of Cowgirlblues' solids. It combines wonderfully with the matching variegated version or even with Kidsilk. To avoid confusion with "real" sock yarn, this yarn will be sold and labeled under the name "Merino Twist" in the future.
